The words "today is a good day for pie" is actually a Klingon saying, which is actually \"today is a good day to die", sounds similar.
This is one of a few episodes which shows Weebl as being thick as two short planks.
Coal usually, without having magic properties, glows when you light it. No witchcraft was ever used.

{From the right, BOB appears wearing a mask}
BOB: lo
WEEBL: lo.
BOB: me wearing a mask.
WEEBL: yes you are.
WEEBL: who are you?
BOB: bob.
WEEBL: but bob not wear mask.
WEEBL: it too chique.
WEEBL: who you really?
BOB: bob.
WEEBL: I not easy to fool.
BOB: sigh!
BOB: I am a thief.
WEEBL: ah haaaaaaa.
WEEBL: my cunning plan reveal the truth!
WEEBL: I will keep close eye on you.
WEEBL: or you steal my magic coal.
WEEBL: everyone after my coal.
BOB: why coal magic?

ALARM: danger! coal is being ignited.

BOB (off screen): oooh.
ALARM: danger! coal being watched in amazement.
WEEBL: damn you masked man.
WEEBL: whoever you are.
WEEBL: what I tease pensioners with now?
