This is the first time Bob has appeared to the left of Weebl on screen.
"Friends, Romans, Countrymen, Lend me your ears" is a very famous saying from the Roman Empire and has been spoofed many times, with sketches including ears being thrown at the Roman Emperor.
"Beware the pies of March" is actually "Beware the Ides of March" which refers to the Shakespeare Julius Caesar, since Caesar was killed on the Ides of March which is the 15th March 44 B.C.
